KUOTA CYCLE WINS THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN CANADA WITH MATTEO FONTANA

MONT TREMBLANT – QUEBEC (CAN): Matteo Fontana, a DDS Team athlete, is the new IM 70.3 World Champion. The race was held in Mont Tremblant in Quebec (Canada), the Italian athlete won in 4h07’35’’, ahead of the Canadian Pierre Marc Doyon (4h08’33’’) and the American Iain Alexandridis (4h08’43’’).

Fontana commented about the race: “It has been tough, especially during the running section because of an intestinal disorder. But the hard work I’ve been doing has paid off once again. I want to thank my family, my DDS team and Kuota Cycle for supporting me.

Fontana started his career as a cyclist with the Italian Team VC Sovico and raced in the Under 23 category before becoming a triathlete 18 months ago thanks to the support of the DDS Team and Kuota.

Villasanta Italy, is the home of Kuota Cycle Headquarters, and it is here in the Kuota Lab where the new World Champion works  on developing the biomechanics and looking for the correct position on the bike.
